Rudbeckia
'Sweet as Honey'
hybrida
PP#34,972
Sprays of small, softer golden yellow flowers are easy on the eyes when they begin to bloom in July. Gardeners as well as cut flower growers will delight in their disease resistant and noticeably finer blooms arising from strongly basal foliage. The sturdy stems are green and pubescent, topping out at 18 inches tall and 24 inches wide. This black-eyed Susan’s cones are petite, only a half-inch wide. ‘Sweet as Honey’ reads as a smaller, upright, and lighter plant in both presence in the garden and color. Plant is full sun, well-drained soils.
