Rudbeckia

'Sweet as Honey'

hybrida

PP#34,972

Sprays of small, softer golden yellow flowers are easy on the eyes when they begin to bloom in July. Gardeners as well as cut flower growers will delight in the disease resistant and noticeably finer blooms arising from strongly basal foliage. Sturdy stems are green and pubescent, topping out at 18 inches. This black-eyed Susan’s cones are petite—a half-inch wide. ‘Sweet as Honey’ reads as smaller, upright, and lighter in both garden presence and color. Plant in well-drained soils in full sun.
