The Plant Lover’s Guide to Sedums

By the time Timber Press approached Brent Horvath to write a book about sedums, he had introduced a number of the plants into the marketplace like 'Thundercloud' and 'Pure Joy', along with their sister seedlings 'Rock Star', 'Peace and Joy', and 'Soft Cloud'.

Writing the book enriched his breeding. As a genus, sedum is huge. Brent’s research gave him the additional bonus of learning even more about these unique plants, and gathering more varieties and species.

"Visual and informational candy for people who are passionate about plants."

Akron Beacon Journal

Lavishly illustrated at 232 pages, the book appeals to both recreational gardeners and professional landscapers. The Plant Lover’s Guide to Sedums profiles 150 of the best varieties to grow, with information on zones, plant size, soil and light needs, origin, and how sedums are used in the landscape. Other topics discussed include designing with sedums, understanding sedums, growing and propagating, where to buy them, and where to see the plants in public gardens.
