Intermediate, halfway-type foliage emerges dark green. These hybrid plants are heavy blooming. The blue flower clusters are darker than most bluestars and larger, too. They begin to open at the end of May on 18 to 24-inch stems. A reserved growth spurt to 30 inches plus occurs after the flowers fade, keeping the plant wider than it is tall. Full sun; average soil.
