Sesleria x ‘Star Crossed’ was born from a cross of two exceptional blue forms of sesleria. The result is wider and bluer foliage in a compact mound maturing at 8 to 10 inches tall and 12 inches wide. Creamy yellow flowers are held on winged stems 15 inches in length. Sesleria grows best in cool times of the season, preferring average-to-moist soil and tolerating full sun to light shade. It makes a perfect foil for low spring flowering bulbs and perennials.
